Where understanding comes before change.

Driven by curiosity, my work brings together evidence-based nutrition and behavioural psychology to help make sense of food choices, appetite, eating patterns, energy levels and the context of YOUR everyday life. Without quick fixes or rigid rules.

How I Work

We start by understanding

Everybody has a story. We begin by exploring what’s been happening for you; your health history, your eating patterns, and the context you’re living in. We delve into what you want to achieve while working with me.

We notice patterns.

I use a biopsychosocial framework to help identify patterns in eating, appetite, mood and energy. Together, we look for the threads that connect food choices, hunger and fullness cues, habits, stress, sleep, energy and life context - without judgement or blame. Patterns are not assumed, they are gently observed over time. To support this process, we may draw on a range of tools, depending on what is most relevant for you. These might include, for example:

  • Food Journals or food and mood diaries

  • Hunger and fullness awareness tools

  • Sleep and routine mapping

  • Eating behaviour questionnaires

  • Perceived stress and mental load scales

  • Body image and body dissatisfaction measures

  • Targeted blood testing, where appropriate.

These tools aren’t used to label or diagnose. They are used to reduce the guesswork, increase understanding, and help us see what is shaping your experience from a biological, psychological, social and environmental perspective. Patterns help guide the work and show us where support is needed and where small changes are likely to have the biggest impact.

We choose what matters most.

Rather than trying to change everything at once, we focus on the few areas that are most likely to make a meaningful difference.

We support change over time.

Adjustments are made gradually, with flexibility built in. The aim is steadier progress and less mental load, not perfection.

What I Don’t Do

I don’t prescribe rigid meal plans, extreme rules, or one-size-fits-all approaches.

I don’t promote restriction, detoxes or quick fixes.

I don’t use shame, fear or moral language around food.

And I don’t expect change to happen through discipline alone.

If you’re looking for strict plans, quick weight loss targets, externally imposed rules, my approach may not be the right fit, and that’s okay.

Who I’m Best For

I’m here for people who want to understand their body better, find THEIR best version of self, build sustainable habits, and move away from cycles of restriction, guilt, tiredness and feeling stuck.
